LadeeBee: 2015 LYS

Ladee Bee on the 2014 Knitalong
In the heart of the Dundas West strip known as The Junction, surrounded by cafes and other great shopping, sits LadeeBee.  2014 was this beautiful shop's first time with the Knitalong and everyone was delighted with it.

On the airy, sun filled, first floor you will find a lovely yarn selection that includes  Briggs & Little, Ella Rae, and Fleece Artist. Spinners will be happy to hear of the roving available, dyed by Manos, Turtlepurl and LadeeBee herself.  They also carry cross stitch, embroidery and needle felting supplies. On the lower floor is a large table surrounded by a huge selection of beads, buttons, and jewelry making supplies. Classes and workshops are held there on crafts as diverse as beading and candle making. There is ample seating on both floors to sit 'n knit.

We were also delighted to see they carry ceramic items created by Sistering's Inspirations Studio alongside lovely jewelry created in-store.

The Junction is a family friendly neighbourhood and the store has responded by holding classes for both adults and children. Owner Melissa McColl hosts birthday parties, fundraisers and summer craft camps. It's a true community. Check out the website and Facebook page for contact and booking details.

Closest TTC: The #40 Junction from Dundas West Station passes very frequently with a stop at Quebec Ave. right in front of the store.
